| Over the past 50 years or so I have seen the growth of music and with it many memories form the 50's with Bill Hayleys apprearence in Croydon to the present. My first 78 rpm was Doris Day singing Dead Wood stage around 1958 and my first classical record was a 33rpm 1812 played by the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestral including canon and bells.
Such classics as "She wore Red Feathers" from the merry-go-round at a Fair in Watton to the Satire of Tom Lehrer that I heard and loved in the 60's. Later I enjoyed Donovan rather than Dylan and soit goes on ... ... ... Much of the music is not available on CD these days but I have found some of those inspiration pieces on You Tube and therefore I have contructed these pages to reflect the diversity of music and humour that brings back so many memories. |
